The Cadillac CTS and CTS-V family in Sedan, Sport Wagon and Coupe body styles are entering the 2013 model year largely unchanged with only minor updates to their styling and equipment features.
Available with a 270HP 3.0-liter V6 (sans the Coupe) or a 318HP 3.6-liter V6, the 2013MY CTS family receive a new front grille finish plus a fresh assortment of exterior colors named Glacier Blue Metallic, Silver Coast Metallic and Summer Gold Metallic, while Cadillac has made the adaptive remote vehicle starting system standard on all models.
Moving on to the CTS-V family that continues with a 6.2-liter V8 delivering 556-horses linked to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic, the 2013 model year brings a new Glacier Blue Metallic exterior color but more importantly, new two-piece front brake rotors.
According to GM, the two-piece rotors offer greater resistance to warping and theoretically, a longer rotor life, as well as reduced weight.
