Poor Lewis Hamilton. He wanted to make a pit stop with his former team [Video]

For the last five years Lewis Hamilton raced for the McLaren team, but this year he signed a contract with Mercedes. Both teams use a similar color scheme, but that doesn't justify that you try to make your pit stop with your former team. Well, that is exactly what happened with Hamilton during the Malaysian Grand Prix.

In the video below we can see Hamilton driving to McLaren's pit box while the mechanics wave him through, while his girlfriend watched and laughed at that scene, soon realizing his mistake he drove the the right place.

In the end he finished third ahead of his team mate, Nico Rosberg. But that place was achieved thanks to the intervention from team boss Ross Brawn. After the race was finished Nico was recorded saying to Brawn, "Remember this one".

Even McLaren made fun fun of this situation by saying in twitter, "Feel free to pop in and say "hi" any time". Hamilton wasn't so happy, apologizing to his team and adding that he didn't understand how he could have done such an easy mistake and promising it wouldn't happen again.

Here's the 2014 Mercedes CLA 45 AMG. Will have its public reveal at the New York International Auto Show

Two months after the presentation of CLA, Mercedes decided to show the sportier version of its small sedan, the CLA 45 AMG. The performance figures weren't confirmed by Mercedes, but since this car is heavily based on the A-Class the engine that powers this version is also the same one used in the A45 AMG, a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit.

The engine delivers a hefty 360hp (365kW) and 450Nm (332lb/ft) of torque connected to the Mercedes automatic transmission, the seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT and the four-wheel drive system, 4MATIC. Since it uses the same engine we can also expect it to have a similar fuel consumption of around 7l/100km (33.6mpg US).

Top speed is limited to 250km/h (155mph) while it will take under five seconds to reach the 100km/h (62mph) mark from standstill.

And just like the A-Class AMG, the exterior of the CLA 45 AMG is very similar to the regular CLA with the AMG Sport Package, with the exception of some trim pieces in the bumpers, side skirts, and in the interior with a carbon piece in the dashboard, sport seats and contrasting red stitching.

The only thing they need to change are those wheels, they look something taken from the catalog of the worst tuning company in the world. Official presentation will take place at the New York International Auto Show in a little over one week.

2014 Mercedes S-Class caught undisguised, plus official interior pictures

In 2011 Daimler announced that the Maybach brand would cease to exist due to poor sales, with the last car being produced in December 2012, Daimler also said that the new Mercedes S-Class was going to replace the Maybach as the most luxurious car coming from the German brand that will rival Bentley and Rolls Royce, and that is the car you can see below.

The new Mercedes S-Class has the same style of headlamps now found on the most recent models, with LED headlights and a rather large grille on the front. In the back we will also LEDs in the taillights and a shape similar to the one found in the CLS.

As for the technology, the new S-Class will premiere several new cool things like active seat belts, distronic plus adaptive cruise control with steering assist, automatic emergency braking system, attention assist system, the Continental camera-based pedestrian detection system, and many more that will be detailed when Mercedes officially present the new S-Class.

Inside we will also have LED lighting, a lot of wood and leather, a Burmester sound system and two 12.3 inch screens for the instrument cluster and the infotainment system.

You can expect five different versions of the S-Class. By the end of the year Mercedes will release the coupe, convertible and the sedan will be available in three different lengths, with the longer one being the actual replacement of the Maybach 57 which will be called the S-Class Pullman.

Find out more when Mercedes reveals the S-Class on May 15 in Hamburg.
