Suzuki will bring the AUTHENTICS concept to Shanghai

Suzuki will bring several cars and motorcycles to the Shanghai Motor Show, which begins on April 20, but the main attraction will be a new C-segment sedan called Authentics. A car that seems to be the sedan version of the SX4 or even the replacement for the unsuccessful Kizashi.

Nothing else is known for now, but the concept will have large wheels and a funky LED tail lights. Find out more next month at the Shanghai Motor Show.

Kia finally reveals the CUB Concept at the Seoul Motor Show

While everyone is paying attention to the New York International Auto Show, Kia decided to bring a new concept to the Seoul Motor Show, but at the same time revealed they have no plans to put this compact, "four-door coupe", designed in Seoul, into volume production.

The four meter long concept with room for four people has "suicide doors" for the rear doors and doesn't have a B-pillar for an easier access to the interior. In the front of the car we find head lamps with two-point LED lights similar to those premiered with the Quoris, 19-inch alloy wheels and a bumper shaped to look like a "cheerful face".

In the rear, the LED treatment continues in the tail lights, while the bumper has a shape similar to the one in the front in order to accentuate the width of the vehicle.

Inside we have four individual seats, creating the sensation of a luxurious interior, that is complemented with the use of black leather with yellow color accents in the seats, steering wheel and door armrests.

The engine in this "four-door coupe", and i used quotation marks because this looks more like a five-door hatchback (read the definition in wikipedia), is the same one used in the pro_cee’d GT and cee’d GT. The 1.6 liter GDI with 204PS (150kW) and 265Nm (196lb/ft).

The CUB has an estimated top speed of 230km/h (143mph) and will take 7.7 seconds to reach 100km/h (62mph) when using the six-speed manual transmission.

The Subaru WRX Concept is a cool looking car, will Subaru ruin it if it gets into production?

Subaru is known for doing amazing concepts, but when they create the production version of the concept they pretty much ruin everything. Happened before, will happen again, we can just wish they don't to the same to the WRX Concept they are bringing to the New York International Auto Show.

Subaru announced last year the new WRX would be a completely different car from the Impreza, meaning there won't be another Impreza WRX or STI. Nothing else is known for now but i will keep you updated as soon as more information arrives.

Kia teases another concept, this time its the CUB

First it was the Cross GT in Chicago, than the Provo in Geneva, and now it seems Kia will bring another concept to the Seoul Motor Show. The CUB (in English a cub is the young of certain animals, like the lions and bears) is the new concept, a car that according to Kia is "both sleek and small".

The four-door coupe has less than four meters in length, will have two-point LED lights similar to those found in the Kia Quoris and was created to appeal to an urban and younger crowd.

The Seoul Motor Show, like the New York  International Auto Show, starts on March 28.

Citroen DSX - A new SUV from the French company

Supposedly, in the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show Citroen will reveal to the public the DSX, a mid-size SUV concept that will rival the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3. Several sources indicate that it will use the same platform as the DS5 and will have a lenght of around 4700mm. The production version should be introduced in 2014.

For now we only get to see this (bad) image taken probably from the shooting for a video advertising that will be released during or even before the Shanghai Motor Show.

The new SUV seems to have been inspired on the Citroen 9 Concept. A concept that will lose the characteristic double chevron from the French brand.

Hyundai HND-9 Concept. Will be at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show

It seems that Hyundai saved a surprise for this year's Seoul Motor Show in the form of the HND-9 concept. A vehicle that aims to be a hint at the brand's next-generation luxury sports coupe design and also represents an evolution of the "fluidic" sculpture design philosophy used by the South Korean company.

The replacement of the Genesis coupe, which is also the ninth concept developed by Hyundai's Research and Development Center in Namyang, Korea, is described as "a modern reinterpretation of the elegant image of a classic premium sports coupe" thanks to the long hood and wheelbase, besides the wide hexagonal-shaped radiator grille and butterfly doors that probably won't make it to production.

The rear wheel-drive concept comes equipped with a 3.3 liter V6 turbo GDi engine producing 370PS and an automatic eight-speed transmission.

The unseen concepts of the La Ferrari (Project F150 aka F70).

When a company decides to create a new model they give a certain stylistic freedom to their designers to create their vision of that future vehicle, and Ferrari is no exception with the La Ferrari. When one design is chosen by the management team, board of directors or even the President, that single design gets to be detailed to a deeper level. But what you have below is the designs that never got to see the daylight.

The first image you can see below is, in my opinion, a better choice for the rear of the car, but unfortunately it wasn't the one to be produced. Enjoy the rest of the images and don't forget to tell us what you think. See more pictures in the Source.
