Skoda presents the new Octavia Combi
Like all the new cars being presented in these days it will also be at the Geneva Motor Show and the majority of car is already known from the sedan, meaning the only changes happen outside and in the rear which is of course bigger. Click here to see the sedan.
The new Octavia Combi is 90mm longer and 45mm wider than its predecessor, and has a wheelbase which is also longer by 11mm. The boot has 610liters, which is a record in its class, and can get to 1.740liters when the rear seats are folded.
Skoda offers the same four petrol and four diesel engines available in the sedan and the Combi 4×4 with a new four-wheel drive system (5th-generation Haldex clutch). The GreenLine Version reaches a fuel consumption of only 3.4l/100km and CO2 emissions of only 89g/km.

2014 Skoda Octavia III RS revealed again in the brands configurator
We already saw the new Octavia III, and the RS version was leaked to the web in the brands own configurator. Well it seems they did it again, revealing the car to the public again but this time in blue with black wheels.
As you can see the new RS will have headlamps with a darker inside, new more sportier bumpers, a large spoiler on the the trunk/boot lid, and larger black wheels.
No information was revealed about the engines but we expect to see the 2.0liter petrol engine with over 200hp and the 2.0liter TDI with 184hp. Both will have the DSG gearbox available. We will probably see it for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show.

Short News: Skoda reveals the Octavia RS. It was all a mistake.
Skoda unintentionally revealed today the Octavia RS in the company's car configurator, which was immediately removed but some pictures still got out, and you can see them below.
From what we can see it has new bumpers, the front one reminds me of the ones used in the Ibiza and Leon, different wheels and a rear spoiler. The engine is expected to be a four cylinder, 2.0liter engine with over 200hp.
Thanks to this leak, i am sure Skoda will be forced to reveal the car soon, .
