From May 22 to June 10, the world's best tennis players will do battle on the courts of Roland Garros. As an official sponsor of the French open, Peugeot has served up two highly-specified ‘Roland Garros’ Special Editions of its 207CC and 308CC coupe-convertibles.
The 207 CC Rolland Garros SE is offered in either Onyx Black or Bianca White and a choice of two engines, the 1.6-litre VTi 120 petrols or the 1.6-litre HDi 112 turbo diesel.
While based on the Allure trim level, the special edition model gains trimmed leather seats, a Roland Garros branded windstop and Roland Garros embroided carpet mats.
Other standard features include aluminum door sills, 17-inch alloy rims, Bi-Zone air conditioning, auto headlamps, cruise control and speed limiter, Peugeot Connect with Bluetooth, rear parking aid, electric folding door mirrors and tinted rear windows.
According to Peugeot, while the Rolland Garros SE's enhanced specification package is worth £1,235, it costs just £650 above the Allure trim level. In the UK, on-the-road prices for the 207 CC Rolland Garros model start at £18,795.
The second Rolland Garros special edition is based on the larger 308 CC, which is available in Nera Black or Pearl White paint finishes with engine choices including the 1.6-litre THP 156 or THP 200 petrol, and the 2.0-litre HDi 163 turbo diesel.
Like its smaller sibling, the special edition of the 308 CC is based on the Allure trim level and comes with £550 worth of features but costs only £300 more than the regular Allure model.
Additional standard features over the Allure model include Roland Garros Luxury Blue/ Grey leather seats, 18-inch Dark Storm alloy wheels, Peugeot Connect with Bluetooth, front and rear parking aid, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, Roland Garros embroidered carpet mats and a Roland Garros branded windstop.
On-the-road prices for the 308 CC Roland Garros start at £25,845.
