In addition to beautiful cars, the Italians also build bikes with a new and exciting look and the MV Agusta Brutale 800 is no exception.
It uses the same 798cc three-cylinder engine that will power the MV Agusta Rivale, the MV Agusta 800 is a stroked-out version of the Brutale 675, with an increase in the stroke length from 45.9mm to 54.3mm, while the bore maintains its diameter with 79mm. This engine produces 123bhp, with 80Nm (59.7 lbs/ft) of torque at 8,600rpm.
The bike will weigh 167kg without fluids and will have an optional electronically assisted shift (EAS) system, which comes standard on the “Italy” edition. The suspension is fully adjustable, both the rear and front and will use brakes supplied by Brembo. The EAS system is part of the MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) which includes four pre-set engine maps, with one user-customizable map, plus eight different levels of traction control.
The bike will cost 9.990€ (13.000€) and if you want the EAS you will have to spend 400€ (510$). The "Italy" version costs 10.990 (14.000€) and already has the EAS.
The offcial presentation will be in just one week at the EICMA.
