The Ener-G-Force is Mercedes entry in this year's Los Angeles Design Challenge whose theme was "Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025". The vehicle is environmentally friendly with several solutions that will help power it over all types of terrain.
Some of the solutions used in this vehicle are the collection of water in the roof to be used in a hydric converter to obtain hydrogen to be used as fuel. It has a motor in each wheel, a range of 800km and emits only H20.
In the roof there is also a 360 degrees topographic scanner that checks the surrounding terrain and uses the results to adjust the dampers for a better ride and traction.
This might be the preview of the future G-Class.
