Britain is next in line to learn how much the newCLS Shooting Brake model will cost when Mercedes-Benz's dealers begin accepting orders in mid-September and before deliveries commence in November.In the UK, the station wagon version of the CLS will be available with three different engine variants including the diesel-powered 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, and a petrol flagship, the CLS 63 AMG.
Prices start at £49,360 OTR for the 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and rise to £83,030 for the AMG model, which represent a £1,785 and £1,150 premium over the same editions of the CLS sedan respectively.
The CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake features a 2.1-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel delivering 201hp (204PS) and a combined fuel consumption of 53.3 mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 139 g/km.
The more potent CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake gets a V6 turbo diesel with 261hp (265PS) that returns a combined fuel economy of 47.1 mpg UK and 161 g/km CO2.
Finally, the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake sports a 518hp (525PS) 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 that emits 235 g/km of CO2 and offers 28 mpg UK.
All Shooting Brake models come with the same standard features as the CLS Coupe including a Becker MAP PILOT for the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY or the COMAND Online multimedia system for the 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 63 AMG, leather upholstery, Parktronic front and rear, metallic paint, Bi-Xenon headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Additional standard specification over the CLS Coupé includes the Easy-Pack Quickfold rear seat adjustment and compartment cover systems plus a rear air suspension.
