A new video circulating around the internet has some people suggesting that Porsche may have shown the final-production version of its 918 Spyder to future customers during an invitation-only event in New York.
We cannot say for sure if it is indeed the production spec model, but the car seen here does sport some minor changes over the most recent prototypes caught on camera as well as the ones previewed in official shots such as theMartini Racing version.
Compared to the newest prototypes, the New York model gets similar alloy wheels to the concept, additional red side markers on the corners of the bumper (though these were also used on a previous test car), a vented engine lid, new mirrors with twin bars linking them to the doors and the same headlamp fixtures as the original study.
